Cedar Bear does not produce 'tinctures, it products 'TincTract®s,' and we only use vegetable glycerin which has none of the denaturing or inert rendering effects of alcohol on an herb's constituents and components.
The TincTract® process is an integrative approach to making our herbal concentrates. This is best described as, 'More than a TINCture and more than an eTRACT, it's a TincTract®.' The TincTract® process for making our herbal concentrates was developed by our founder L. Carl Robinson, MH, TT, CCHt, RH (AHG). The TincTract® process goes beyond tincturing, percolates, and macerations that can only result in 'weak' glycerites that may need added preservatives. TincTract® processed herbs are the most potent herbal glycerites available, and they taste remarkably good with no additional flavorings, preservatives or added chemicals.
