2nd – On that same call, after getting your full contact information, we then do a preliminary overview vetting of what you desire to do.

3rd – Next, you will be sent, by email, two DocuSign documents – a MND/NSA (Mutual Non-Disclosure/Non-Solicitation Agreement) and a SMA (Service Manufacturing Agreement) to be signed by both you and us.

4th – Once these two agreements are signed and received by us, we proceed forward with your project.

White Label is choosing from our stock of ready formulated products. Private Label is making slight differentiating modifications to ready formulated stock formulas. Custom Formulating is developing a new formula from scratch for a fee.

Yes. CBCM does take orders for finished 'bulk' products (i.e., products not bottled/finisheds by CBCM) for a company to either do their own in-house bottling/finishing, or to be added, as an ingredient, to another product. We provide both our formula-based or single herbs in bulk format.

The size of bulk container go from a minimum of 5 gallons on up to 55 gallon drums. We can work with Contract/Co-Packing scenarios.

Pricing is per unit based – meaning the more units of a particular product ordered per order the lower the per unit cost will be (i.e., volume discounts, up to a point). As for costing of the three tiers of product offerings – White Label tock formulas are at a base price. Private Label differentiated stock formulas are a tier higher in per unit pricing. Custom Formulated from scratch formulas are a tier higher than Private Label offerings plus a per-item/product development fee as per our deveopment fee policy. Single herb offerings pricing vary from herb to herb, depending on the herbs used.

We do our best to meet a reasonable lead time schedule according to all things considered. However, there are a number of issues and circumstances that affect reasonable lead time/ship ready schedules for a placed Purchase Order (PO). Some include:

• Tafiffs! – numerous raw botanicals are sourced worldwide – unreasonable tariffs not only suppress the ready availability of raw materials, but can also cause unstable pricing considerations by quickly spiking the prices of raw materials and potentially disrupting commerce.

• Supply chain/delivery disruptions and hold-ups – caused by acts-of-nature, political instability, trade disputes, etc.

• All raw materials are 3rd party lab tested for identity and purity, of which said test take two to three weeks to get results back. Receipt of wrong raw material or adulterated material not able to pass an FDA required identity testing protocol is rejected, and hence, requires re-ordering of the material and having to expand lead time expectations..

• Another 3rd party lab test is done on a sample of a batch/lot of finished product for safety and purity, that takes two to three weeks to receive results. This means the total time for all FDA required lab test are four to six weeks, which cannot be shortened. Because of our own stringent QA/QC standardards, CBCM will not minimalize or reduce these FDA regulatory-driven standards for any reason.

• It should be noted that as per the SMA, lead times for production queue placement of a placed PO do not commence until a payment clears our bank. The longer it takes for that payment to be received and cleared the longer it will take to put a PO into the production queue with the lead time will be extended accordingly.

• CBCM schedules its received orders on a FIFO (First In First Out) basis. This means the sooner a PO is placed and payment received and cleared with our bank the quicker it is placed into the production queue. Lead times for an PO are ruled by the production queue placement, so when a PO goes into a production queue is also a determining factor of the lead time schedule.

• As per the SMA, any post-PO changes will remove an order from the production queue and delay the lead time schedule (i.e., stop the lead time schedule clock) until the PO changes are approved and agreed to and dealt with according to the SMA, with the PO then re-inserted into the production queue, with the lead time clock then resuming.

CBCM can provide a template and help design your label, print it in-house or send it to a third-party printer, and we can even apply your label during the manufacture finishing process so the finished herbal supplements get shipped right to you!

Yes! - for a cost, if all CBCM procured ingredients in your product are on our Kosher and Halal schedules of approved ingredients lists, we can help get your products Kosher or Halal certified. Vegan certification cannot be done through CBCM but must be done directly with the Vegan certifier by the account.
