Singing in the Rain:
The last day of Summer brought with it a loudly thundering rainstorm. I was in the Retreat Center’s outdoor kitchen bottling up salsa (made entirely from our own organically raised vegetables from our Oasis Gardens!) and enjoying the day so much I didn’t pay attention when it started to rain. Oh oh… I suddenly remembered that the windows to the Learning Center Yurt were open! I ran through the pelting rain to close up the windows, and by the time I got back to the kitchen shelter, I was soaked from head to toe! Laughing at the silliness of having gotten caught out in the downpour, I continued filling and sealing the bottles, dripping wet! Ain’t Nature grand?
